SALLYS MANOR
/
Sally’s Manor, one of RACIIT’s many signature events, was initiated back in the 2016-17 and during this short span of time, Sally’s Manor has received multiple awards as a mode of recognition. The most recent being the Silver Award won under “Most Outstanding Club Service Fellowship” category. In this RI year, Sally’s Manor took place for the 6th consecutive year on the 30th of December with more than 350 brave individuals gathered at A&S Traders, located at the heart of Nugegoda to experience the horror and spine-chilling adventure that awaited them at the Manor.
Sally’s Manor wasn’t just your average horror house. It was a spooky experience that tells the tragic story of a young girl named Sally who committed suicide 50 years ago, in the IIT building, which was a hospital back then. Her ghost has been lurking in the hospital, seeking revenge on those who enter the building. This year, Sally has returned to seek vengeance, and she’s not going to hold back.
As you enter the manor, you’ll be transported back in time to the early 1980s, where you’ll encounter the ghost of Sally. She’s been waiting for this moment for over 50 years, and she’s ready to make you pay for the sins of the past. The hospital has been transformed into a terrifying maze of horror, with Sally’s vengeful spirit lurking around every corner. You’ll come face to face with grotesque displays, creepy characters, and jump scares that will make your blood boil and heart pound.
As you navigate through the horror house, you’ll find Sally’s diary, a glimpse into her mind before she took her own life. However, Sally is not pleased when she notices children steal her diary, she sees this as an invasion of her privacy and comes to take her revenge on that child. The child is followed by Sally everywhere she goes, and the ghost will not rest until she has her revenge. It’s a truly immersive experience. But be warned, it’s not for the faint of heart. The hospital is haunted by the ghost of Sally, who is determined to make you pay for the sins of the past.
But the horrors of Sally’s Manor didn’t end there. After you had made it through the house, you were invited to a DJ party full of music and fun. But of course, Sally’s ghost was there too, lurking in the shadows, ready to jump out and scare you once again. The party was held in the rooftop hall decorated with spooky decorations and eerie lighting, adding to the already spooky atmosphere. The party was a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after the intense scares of the horror house. It was the perfect ending to a night of adventures and thrills. It was a chance to let loose and have some fun, but it was also a reminder of the tragic story of Sally and the horror that took place in the Manor.
Overall, Sally’s Manor was an unforgettable experience, one that will stay with you long after you leave the Manor. We would like to thank all the attendees who turned up and helped us successfully fulfill the main goal of project Sally’s Manor, raising funds for RI dues.
